Another shot from the pasture the other day. It was interesting to watch the horses interact with one another. There was a good bit of running, some hoof stomping and even a few powerful kicks to set anyone straight who might not know who the leader was. This black horse had an air of power and grace that set him apart from the others.
Handsome beast and a nice shot!
Thank you
That’s a healthy and powerful stallion, stands like a leader! 🙂
Agreed
the black horse does look like a leader… so powerfull and his attitude…love it!
Thats what I thought
“…had an air of power and grace that set him apart from the others.”
“Him”? Are you sure that’s not a fine specimen of a pregnant American Saddlebred mare? 😉
Otherwise, that is one fat, fat horse. 🙂
Could well be.Its spring here,so maybe you are right.

I’m confident your shot depicts a Saddlebred mare in foal. 🙂
Judging by those photos, that seems to be a very nice breed. I will have to watch for any new arrivals.
Beautiful stately animals. I admire your photography.
Thank you for looking
