This was shot after a night of heavy rain and conditions were as calm as I have seen in recent memory. I usually would crop out the road, but with the leaves partially covering it, I found the blue shade a nice contrast to the row of trees. This is one of my favorite fall shots from this season.
So beautiful. Where is it?
Middle Creek, but forget going to see it since Sandy blew through.
Nice choice to leave the road in the shot Donald. Beautiful and vibrant representation of fall. Have a super day and weekend my friend. 🙂
Glad you like it.this weekend will be a sandy cleanup project, but nothing like what most folks are dealing with.I finally bought a generator after a guy at costco grabbed 4 from the pile of 8,and I figured it might be a good time. he drove 150 miles from jersey to find them.
Excellent photo of fall. The colors are beautiful. I’m glad you included the curved path, not only does it provide a good contrast, I think it is also a great way to give it balance.
Good luck with the clean up, I hope there wasn’t too much damage.
I am funny when it comes to excluding people and man made junk from my photos. not all the time, but i agree the road adds another element.Come on over,I have a second rake.
I love this one too, especially the lovely blue, an unexpected color on the ground in the fall.
