Anyone who visits my blog has seen this home a few times. It was for sale,and started at 5 million,went to 3 million,then 1.5million,and recently listed at 850,000 and finally sold for possibly less.The realtor commented it was functionally obsolescent,hence the low price. The buyer got a great deal in my opinion.glad to see it found a new family.

It is beautiful. Functionally obsolescent..referring to structural deterioration or small rooms, excess heating bills, etc? Just curious. Heck, I’d move in one wing and put my friends and family in another part of the house!

I think just the heat,etc that may make it a bit of a money pit,but if you can afford the price,you can handle the rest. search watt mansion on my site to see the carriage house out back there. I would live in that no problem.
