Pardon my ignorance but I have no idea what this sculpture is supposed to be of? It was at a book store during the fire and ice festival but that is all I know about it. A dragon,phoenix,who knows?

Most likely.I should ask a few kids what it might be.
I’m guessing its a chimera. Basically a lion with wings. Looks nice.
We will go with that till anyone offers a better answer.never heard of that before.Guess I need to get out more.
On second look, it is most likely a CHIMERA. My apologies to Philip. The figure in the picture does not have eagle talons as front feet, so it cannot be a griffin. I missed that. My bad, wish I could delete my previous two comments. :-p

Someone had mentioned it being a Griffin,but they corrected themselves shortly after,so I just deleted that.
Fair enough, I still loving the ice sculptures. I am a little bit jealous. I would love to see them someday. We don’t really get the kind of weather that you would need for that here.
Someday I dream of going to the Harbin ice festival. now that would blow your mind.
