Pumpkins are starting to appear at just about every roadside stand you pass.This has been a great year for farming in the region and pumpkins are doing just fine as well.This is one stand I liked because of the nice farm in the background.

Beautiful composition! To me it looks like a victorious army of pumpkins, the corn stacks join the celebration, while the defeated army of butternut squash retreats. 🙂
