Same plane as yesterday but captured at sunset. After the sun went down, I used flash to illuminate the silhouetted plane allowing the shiny details to be revealed.
I am a retired graphic artist/commercial artist/illustrator although I still do illustrations. I had the opportunity throughout the years to work with outstanding photographers and would like to compliment your photos. I am especially attracted to B-25 Mitchell Panchito as it is my favorite aircraft. I particularly like the one showing the front on a slight angle that you took from a low angle looking up at the plane. It makes Panchito look large, powerful and stout. The night shot looks great with your lighting making the aluminum skin, reflections and colors appear striking! Great photo!
That is a cool picture. I love the sun setting in the distance.
Yes it thankfully worked out.shooting into the sun is tough,so I am glad it turned out.
Really nice lighting on this one, Don. I especially like the warm sky reflected in the fuselage.
Thank you. I still struggle with those into the sun shots.Would have loved to see you handle this one.
