Well I realize we are past Christmas now but I have some local town scenes that I photographed this year to share. This is a display window in a store called Revive in a nearby town. I think I shot this Christmas night and was probably the only photographer in the county that wasn’t home relaxing with family. From my experience I can say there is no other time during the year when it feels like the whole world is at home and enjoying peace.
That is beautiful!! And we are smack-dab in the middle of the 12 Days of Christmas, so it’s perfect timing! đŸ˜‰
Never knew that. I thought it was the twelve days before Christmas.
I always thought so too, until a friend just recently sent me a really neat article about the 12 Days of Christmas. Apparently Day 1 is Christmas Day itself. And then just after the 12th day, the Day of Epiphany ends the festivities.
So I decided to enjoy these days after Christmas with new enthusiasm, instead of feeling the post-Christmas letdown!
A good idea!
I recognize Ephrata here. it looks so pretty from this angle at the side of this lit up shop. I’ll have to go into town and look for “Revive” to see where you were standing. Nice shot of my town!
Thanks for all your great photographs! The Lancaster area is short on art museums, but thank goodness we can view your photographs!
thank you. I think that is one of the most unique buildings in town! Could use a little TLC though.

Yes, looks like it could use some fresh paint. But that takes nothing away from the photo.
Oh, I see my reply goes here. lol
