This property was a working farm for years until the owner passed away and because he never married there was no one to inherit it so he donated it to a group he was involved in called The Swiss Pioneer Preservation Associates. Their goal is to preserve the heritage that the early Swiss arrivals brought with them to the region. The old log cabin was originally a mile up the road and falling apart but thanks to the dedication of the Swiss preservation group it has a new home and solid future.
