I ruined a good pair of shoes to get this shot but it was worth the effort. This is my hometown park and the tree framing the gazebo and trees is situated in what seems like a water runoff section. The grass was green but about three steps in I realized it was a muddy saturated mess. Did I back out, of course not because I had to reach the overhanging foliage so I could share the beauty with you!
